SCC | About Us

Southeast Christian Center is a church located in Portland.

Our founding pastors, Steve and Annie Hunt, began SCC in January of 2006 in their home with a group of people who had a passion to know God, love God, and love others. Within a few short years, the church moved to 72nd and Woodstock to accommodate our quickly growing church and children's ministry. Desiring to minister closer to the outer SE Portland neighborhood, we moved to our current location of 2414 SE 135th Avenue in 2010.

Our goal is to bring glory and honor to God, lift up the Name of Jesus, drawing all people to Him.

We are passionate about our faith and we desire God's presence in every service. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God; that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. We have passionate praise and worship with powerful preaching that prepares us to reach our world.

We believe church should be enjoyable; a place where people experience God's presence. It should be authentic and a place where people can learn how the bible applies to their daily lives.
